1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience for an acute care community hospital's diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization program. Details Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology setting 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM On call requirement of 14-15 shifts per month, every other week Sunday-Saturday Holiday requirement is on-call only, with 1 winter or 1 summer holiday required as needed Must float within skillset without exception Epic EMR used for charting Requirements ARRT(R) with NJ license or RCIS accepted Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission (license required if applicable) ACLS and BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of experience required, 1 year may be considered based on experience Experience with room circulating, scrubbing, and maintaining sterile field Skilled in equipment set up, EKG lead placement, access site prep, and stocking supplies Experience recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias and interpreting dysrhythmias Experience with vascular procedures including angioplasty and endovascular interventions Experience with ASD closures, cardiac implant closure devices, stent placement, hemodynamic monitoring, IABP placement/removal, left and right heart catheterization, PCI, permanent/temporary pacemaker insertion, and PA line insertion Epic EMR experience required Additional Information Cardiac and vascular program includes cardiac catheterization, emergency angioplasty/PCI, pacemaker insertion, and vascular and endovascular interventions Hospital-provided scrubs First-time travelers will be considered Local candidates accepted at the same rate Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Priority given to candidates who provide a screenshot confirming RTO and schedule requests at time of consideration; no requests approved after offer Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must be separated from the health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible to return for travel assignments
