1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and required ACLS, BLS, and ARRT or
CCI RCIS
certification. Details Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab, including EP lab support Patient population includes CAD, PAD, STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiac arrhythmias, and neuro/stroke cases Average of 10-15 cases per day 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Call requirements average 2 shifts per week and every 4th weekend, subject to department staffing needs Additional weekend shift required every 5th weekend Uses fluoroscopy, GE Innova IGS, and Philips imaging equipment Charting in
EPIC EMR
Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience in cardiac cath lab procedures ACLS, BLS, and ARRT or
CCI RCIS
certification required Active NJ or Compact license required (if applicable) Proficiency in angioplasty, cardiac stent placement, PCI, PTCA, and left/right heart catheterization Experience with IABP and Impella insertion preferred Experience with permanent and temporary pacemaker insertion Skilled in vascular access site prep, sterile field maintenance, and vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose) Neurological procedure experience including carotid angiography, embolization, and thrombectomy preferred Additional Information Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including scrubbing and maintaining sterile technique Must be available to work 2 of 3 winter holidays First-time travelers and local candidates will be considered Local candidates accepted at the same rate Previous employees of the health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a travel clinician Requested time off must be submitted and confirmed at the time of application, with limited flexibility once onsite
