1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with 5+ years of IR experience and prior travel experience for a single-plane Siemens suite Details Interventional Radiology department in a single-plane Siemens suite with plans to upgrade to a biplane suite and add a newer single-plane room in 2027 as vascular and neuro capabilities expand 5x8 day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Epic charting system required Requirements 5 years of IR experience preferred Prior travel experience required Current ARRT (R) and BLS certification required License required if applicable Experience with single-plane Siemens suite required Proficiency in procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, IVC filter placement/removal, biliary drainage, nephrostomy, chest tube placement, and vascular access Experience with fluoroscopy equipment, ultrasound, and PACS Community hospital and LTAC experience preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include equipment setup, prepping access sites, room circulating, and maintaining sterile fields while scrubbing Perform vascular closure using Perclose or StarClose systems Support diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures as well as EP lab and hybrid OR cases as needed Maintain equipment and stock supplies Must complete core onboarding items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered Previous staff must wait one year before returning as a traveler All requested time off must be disclosed prior to consideration First-time travelers may be considered based on experience
