Position Summary:

Under supervision of the Chief Perfusionist and Attending Cardiac Surgeon, the Perfusionist provides cardiopulmonary support for surgical and medical procedures requiring extracorporeal circulation.

Responsibilities:

Conducts cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) procedures following established protocols, care plans, and surgeon preferences. Administer pharmaceuticals, fluids, and blood products as required during procedures. Participate in the management of a limited ECMO program -- including initiating, managing, and transporting patients on extracorporeal devices, as needed. Assists in the design implementation and participation of ongoing education and training programs for the perfusion team. Oversee inventory management, maintenance, and quality control of perfusion equipment and related supplies.

Schedule:

Primarily day shifts, Monday through Friday. On-call rotation required (frequency dependent on case load and team schedule).

Work Location:

In-person, hospital-based position (Henderson, NV).

Minimum Requirements:

Graduate of an accredited perfusion program.

Experience:

Previous experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply--we provide training and mentorship.

Licenses and Certifications:

Active ABCP Certification. Nevada State Perfusion License (or Provisional License if newly graduated).

Salary:

Commensurate with experience.
