Perfusionists Buffalo, NY Pay $120,000-$220,000 (Full time) Part and Half time positions available Qualifications Graduate of Accredited Perfusion training program Certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP) Ability to work on call shifts with other perfusionists covering (24/7 x 365); must live within 60 minutes from the hospital Ability to adapt and thrive in a high stress environment is necessary Excellent communication skills and basic computer skills are essential Proven self-starter who works well independently and as a part of the OR team Demonstrated knowledge of medical and perfusion terminology. Experience with a variety of Heart-Lung Machines, centrifugal pumps, Intraoperative Auto-transfusion Devices, Hemodynamic Pressure Transducers, ECMO, iStat machines
DESCRIPTION
Gravitas Surgical Solutions is seeking Experienced perfusionists to join a specialized team in the area organ transplantation. The Perfusionist will provide all aspects of extracorporeal cardiopulmonary support for organ donors, this includes the operation of extracorporeal circulation equipment during surgery to support or replace a patient's own cardiopulmonary and circulatory functions, including blood component and drug/fluid administration.
Additional Considerations:
Must be able to work various hours and location based on business needs. Ability to lift, move, push and pull heavy objects and equipment weighing from 60 to 150 lbs. • Ability to spend 95% of working time seating, stooping, standing, reaching up and down, handling equipment and supplies carefully and safely.
