Job Details Special Procedures Technologist will provide proficient technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation, intra- and post-interventional/surgical procedures, management of supplies and devices and assisting with direct patient care. Responsible for safe and effective operation of radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment as well as specialized imaging and technical equipment used for procedures.
Participates in the diagnosis and treatment of invasive procedures.
Maintains a high-level of competency as it relates to the operation of all radiographic equipment Assists physicians in performing special imaging procedures in the Interventional department. Demonstrates adherence to radiation safety practices. Responsible for completing a full caseload assignment. Collaborates effectively with radiologists, nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
Knowledge to perform specialized technical skills in vascular, non-vascular, and interventional procedures.Participates in the diagnosis and treatment of invasive procedures.
