Job Description

Trusted Health seeks a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Staff RN to deliver specialized cardiovascular care in a dynamic cath lab setting. You'll prepare and monitor patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures, administer medications, assist physicians with device placement, and interpret hemodynamic data. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, evidence-based care, respond to emergencies, and maintain accurate documentation. Responsibilities Prepare patients for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures Circulate, scrub, and monitor during cath lab procedures Administer and titrate cardiac and procedural medications safely Monitor and interpret hemodynamic waveforms and cardiac rhythms Respond to cardiac emergencies, including STEMI and code situations Maintain accurate, timely clinical and procedural documentation Collaborate with physicians, techs, and allied staff for coordinated care Operate and troubleshoot cath lab imaging and monitoring equipment Educate patients and families on procedures, risks, and post-care Adhere to infection control, radiation safety, and quality standards Required Skills Cardiac catheterization procedures Hemodynamic monitoring and interpretation Cardiac rhythm interpretation (ECG/telemetry) Moderate sedation administration and monitoring ACLS and BLS resuscitation skills Vascular access management and sheath removal Radiation and contrast media safety Invasive cardiology equipment operation Sterile technique and scrub assisting Electronic health record (EHR) documentation
