Compensation:
$45,000 - $56,000 annually + performance bonuses
Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in preparing for family court hearings by organizing and managing case files with meticulous attention to detail. Draft and proofread legal documents, including affidavits, motions, and subpoenas, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards. Coordinate communication between clients, attorneys, and court officials to facilitate smooth case progression and maintain strong client relationships. Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and provide attorneys with relevant information and insights. Manage and update case management systems, ensuring all information is current and accessible to the legal team. Schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances, optimizing time management for attorneys and clients. Prepare and maintain detailed records of client interactions and case developments, ensuring transparency and accountability in all proceedings.
Qualifications:
Experience in family law or a related legal field, demonstrating a solid understanding of legal procedures and terminology. Ability to manage multiple case files simultaneously with exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven track record of drafting and proofreading legal documents with accuracy and adherence to legal standards. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with clients, attorneys, and court officials, fostering positive relationships. Proficiency in legal research, with the ability to provide valuable insights and support case strategies. Experience using case management systems to maintain up-to-date and accessible information for the legal team. Capability to schedule and coordinate meetings, depositions, and court appearances efficiently, optimizing time for all parties involved.
