Job Description
Avita Health System currently operates three hospitals and numerous clinic locations throughout Richland and Crawford counties. JOB SUMMARY
The Cath Lab Tech may assist in NCDR registry reporting, quality initiatives and other compliance requirements for Cath labs with ODH. The Cath lab tech will assist in diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, perform emergency procedures associated with cardiovascular procedures such as Intra-aortic Balloon pump/Impella and temporary pacemaker insertion. Follow established standards of practice under the direction of a credentialed invasive radiologist, cardiologist or cardiothoracic/vascular surgeon. Participates in patient and family teaching. Maintains role as patient advocate with a focus on the facility's mission.JOB REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of an associate degree with current RT license. Previous experience in Cardiovascular Catheterization Lab. Current BLS certification. Current licensure (as applicable). Current ACLS certificationPREFERRED RCIS
certification preferred. Previous experience with GE MAC lab and Innova. Full Time position with required rotating on call with a minimum response time of 30 minutes to Galion and Ontario Hospitals.Contract Details:
32 hours/week - 24 hours guaranteedShift:
7am-3:30pm 13 week contract Stipend if qualified - 51+ milesRequired On-call:
1-2 days per week and every 3rd weekendContact:
