2 Description American Traveler is hiring an EP Lab Technologist with 1+ years of experience and ARRT(R) or
CCI RCIS
certification for a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab and EP lab setting. Details Work in a Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab, Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab, and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM EP late/call coverage required as needed Epic charting system experience required Uses Philips and PACS equipment Floating to like units within scope may be required based on facility needs with brief orientation provided Requirements Minimum of 1 year experience required Current ACLS, BLS, and ARRT(R) or
CCI RCIS
certification required (CCI RCES preferred) Epic charting system experience required Valid OK or Compact RN license required at time of submission; license required if applicable Skilled in EKG lead placement, access site preparation, vascular closure systems (Perclose, StarClose), and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Experience with EP procedures including cardiac ablation, cardiac mapping, cardioversion, pacemaker insertion, and AICD insertion/programming Experience maintaining sterile field and serving as room circulator/scrub role Ability to accurately monitor patients and set up procedural equipment Additional Information Responsibilities include equipment setup, accurate patient monitoring, EKG lead placement, access site prep, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Role involves both scrub and circulator duties while maintaining a sterile field Royal blue scrubs provided Unit welcomes first-time travelers No travel pairs or groups accepted Former perm staff must be separated from employment for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler RTO must be listed at time of submission; no more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved and no RTO permitted during the first week of orientation Local candidates within 75 miles are not accepted
