Job Summary:

The Workforce Development (WFD) Instructor

• Cardiology Technician provides classroom and/or clinical instruction to adult learners in cardiac technology-related coursework.

This position supports workforce readiness by delivering high-quality, competency-based instruction aligned with industry standards and certification requirements.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree in field or completion of a Cardiology Technician Program. Experience working in a Cardiology Office, extensive experience with Holter monitors, EKG.

Licensing Requirements:

Please note that all this position is required to comply with PA Act 15. You will need to present completed clearances and training certificates at the time of hire.

CCT certification preferred, or other certification may be recognized. Teaching experience preferred.

Job Specific Task List:

Deliver instruction in cardiology technology concepts, procedures, and clinical skills

• (Essential) Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with workforce development and industry certification standards
• (Essential) Provide hands-on and/or lab-based instruction in cardiovascular diagnostic procedures (e.g., EKG/ECG fundamentals, cardiac monitoring)
• (Essential) Assess student performance and provide feedback to support skill mastery and certification readiness
• (Essential) Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress
• (Essential) Support student engagement, retention, and successful program completion
• (Essential) Ensure compliance with applicable safety, clinical, and instructional standards
• (Essential) Collaborate with program staff and clinical partners to support student learning outcomes
• (Essential) Perform other duties assigned
