Job Description

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT), and 1+ year of Cath Lab experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A healthcare facility is seeking a skilled professional to support its imaging department as a Cath Lab Tech. This contract opportunity requires expertise in cardiac catheterization procedures and the technical aspects of cath lab equipment. The role involves working closely with physicians, nurses, and other clinical staff to deliver quality patient care.
Key Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Cath Lab Tech in an imaging or cardiac setting Proficiency with imaging and monitoring equipment used in catheterization labs Knowledge of sterile techniques and radiation safety protocols
CRT/ARRT
certification preferred Strong organizational and communication skills
BLS/ACLS
certifications required or must be obtained prior to start
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cath lab Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot imaging equipment Monitor and record patient vital signs before, during, and after procedures Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring proper positioning and safety Maintain sterile environment and adhere to infection control practices Accurately document procedure details and maintain patient records Support inventory management, including setup and cleanup of equipment and supplies This position offers the chance to contribute your expertise in a dynamic clinical environment, working alongside dedicated healthcare professionals.
