1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer with dual RDCS/RCS and RVT certification for an outpatient imaging position. Details Outpatient medical pavilion setting within an Emergency & Imaging department Sole tech on shift with a daily caseload of 10-12 patients 3x12 hour day shifts, Monday-Thursday, 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, approximately 36 hours weekly No on-call requirements No weekend requirements No floating between service lines or to sister facilities Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience required Current BLS certification (AHA) Dual certification required: RDCS/RCS and RVT (CCI certification accepted) Experience with TTE and vascular studies required Vascular experience must include LEVs, LEAs, ABIs, carotids, UEAs, UEVs, and groin duplex (pseudoaneurysm) Must provide and wear a radiation badge (facility does not supply one) Epic experience preferred License required if applicable Driver's license and SSN required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers accepted Navy blue scrubs required Candidates must be separated from MUSC as previous perm or PRN staff for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler Local candidates accepted on a case-by-case basis at a reduced bill rate; non-local candidates are prioritized 60-mile radius rule applies for local candidate consideration All requested time off must be submitted at time of application, with approval based on facility needs Employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season (June through November, peak August-September)
