Key Qualifications:
Current certification as a Cath Lab Technologist (RCIS, ARRT, or equivalent) Proven experience in a Cath Lab environment, with strong knowledge of imaging procedures Proficient in operating imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and digital radiography Ability to accurately document and communicate findings to multidisciplinary teams Demonstrated commitment to patient safety and infection control protocols Adaptable, detail-oriented, and skilled in fast-paced hospital settings
Role Responsibilities:
Prepare and position patients for cardiac catheterization procedures Operate and maintain complex imaging equipment during diagnostic and interventional procedures Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure seamless workflow and optimal patient outcomes Monitor patients during procedures, identifying and responding to complications swiftly Maintain detailed, timely, and accurate procedure logs and clinical documentation Ensure proper handling, storage, and administration of contrast media and other relevant materials Adhere strictly to all regulatory standards and best practices for quality care This engaging contract role is ideal for individuals looking to broaden their experience in an advanced clinical setting while contributing to excellence in patient care.
