Job Description

Echocardiographer / Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Tech (Physician Clinic - No Weekends!) Non-hospital setting Monday-Friday 8am-5 pm. There is no on-call requirement and they usually finish by 1 or 2pm on Fridays.
Pay Range:
($29.80-$47.00)
Permanent Hire Responsibilities:
Greets and confirms patients, assists patient with appropriate attire for procedure. Explains procedure length, properly positions patient for procedure, and sets expectations along with desired results. Selects and utilizes appropriate technical factors for procedure based on body habits, pathology, and body parts. Processes completed images ensuring they are of interpretable quality. Continues professional development through continuing education programs and in-services. Complies with all policies of the system to deliver the highest quality of service. Performs Adult Echocardiography and Stress/Echo tests. Maintains work logs, provides preliminary reports, and works closely with physicians to ensure protocols are established and met. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Echocardiogram Technology program.
