Qualifications & Experience:
Credentialed and certified as a Cath Lab Technologist (ARRT or RCIS preferred) Proven experience working in an interventional cardiac cath lab setting Proficient with cardiac imaging equipment, contrast administration, and radiation safety protocols Strong understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, sterile techniques, and emergency response procedures Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced environment Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and operate specialized equipment used for cardiovascular procedures Assist physicians with diagnostic and interventional cath lab procedures Monitor patient vitals, document procedural details, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout Maintain accurate records and adhere to regulatory guidelines and protocols Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other staff to deliver high-quality patient care Perform QA/QC checks on all imaging equipment before each use Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in patient status
