Submit your application for the opportunity below: EP Technologist Job Summary and Qualifications Electrophysiology technologist demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment and care of patients served . The EP technologist is able to scrub/ assist the physician with scrubbing/ assisting during diagnostic/interventional electrophysiology studies and during pacemaker/ICD implantations.

What you will do:

Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions Assesses, plans, implements patient procedure care Reacts accordingly to emergency situations Scrubs/assists physicians with diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures Scrubs/assists physicians with insertion/removal of devices such as pacemakers and ICDs Communicates pre/post procedure education to the patient/family Active participation in precepting new employees and shares knowledge with peers Active participation in mandatory departmental continuous quality improvement Provides hemodynamic monitoring assistance during procedures Prepare patients for and assist with examinations or treatments Maintain necessary knowledge to perform daily duties in procedure area by furthering education as needed Supports the facility's Standards of Performance and ICARE values What qualifications you will need: Advanced Cardiac Life Spt must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Basic Cardiac Life Support Vocational School Graduate Must have one of the following: (RCIS) Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, or (RCES) Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist, or (ARRT-R) Radiography Benefits TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
