Job Summary North Knoxville Medical Center is seeking an Echo / Vascular Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound and vascular imaging procedures. This role plays a critical part in evaluating heart and vascular function, collaborating directly with physicians to deliver accurate diagnostic results for high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Perform high-quality echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures following established clinical protocols. Operate and maintain diagnostic ultrasound equipment safely and effectively. Conduct preliminary evaluations and accurately record findings for physician interpretation. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate timely patient care. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and age-specific care during all procedures. Maintain precise clinical documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) in compliance with hospital standards. Assist with patient scheduling, preparation, positioning, order verification, and identification. Maintain regular, reliable attendance and comply with all facility policies.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
0-1 years of experience in echocardiography and/or vascular imaging required
Licenses & Certifications :
RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) required OR RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist) required BLS (Basic Life Support) required
Skills & Knowledge:
Strong working knowledge of echocardiography and vascular ultrasound imaging techniques. Proficiency with diagnostic ultrasound equipment and EMR systems. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for patient and physician interactions. Strong organizational skills and accurate documentation practices.
