Working closely with cardiologists and the interventional team, you will operate specialized cardiac catheterization equipment, perform hemodynamic monitoring, and maintain strict sterile technique in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Essential Functions Procedural Support :
Assists physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures, maintaining sterile techniques and adhering to clinical protocols.
Equipment Operation :
Operates advanced cardiovascular and fluoroscopy equipment safely and efficiently while continuously monitoring patient status. Data &

  • : Records, calculates, and verifies procedure data for physician review; maintains accurate procedural documentation, treatment plans, and progress reports.
Patient Care & Safety :
Prepares, positions, and monitors patients in the acute care unit, providing comfort, reassurance, and emergency response as needed.
Team Collaboration :
Coordinates with interventional healthcare teams to ensure procedural readiness, seamless workflow, and optimal patient outcomes.
Compliance :
Participates in quality improvement, maintaining compliance with department best practices, policies, and regulatory standards. Qualifications Experience 0-1 years of experience in cardiovascular or invasive procedures required Licenses & Certifications RCIS
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist from the National Board of Cardiovascular Technology required BCLS
  • Basic Life Support obtained within 90 days of hire required ACLS
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong background in cardiovascular anatomy, physiology, and interventional cardiology protocols.
Expertise in sterile technique, scrubbing, circulating, and monitoring interventional cardiac procedures. Excellent communication, detail orientation, and clinical accuracy in high-acuity settings.
