ADJUNCT - ECHOCARDIOGRAPHY
: The purpose of this position is to teach assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to institutional need, and maintain appropriate professional relationships with students, colleagues and the community. Courses may include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes. Minimum Qualifications Associate of Applied Science ( AAS ) in Echocardiography or Diagnostic Medical Sonography. Three (3) years of recent clinical experience. Current credential/registration in Adult Echocardiography through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography ( ARDMS )
  • AND/OR
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer through Cardiovascular Credentialing International ( CCI ).
Required Job Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to teach and communicate with students of varied multicultural backgrounds. Knowledge of and commitment to teaching strategies and methods which enhance student success. Knowledge of a learning college and/or knowledge of learning communities. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching at the secondary or college level. Experience teaching college level online courses and/or documented successful training in a college online learning management system (e.g. Blackboard, Canvas).
