- Job Summary and Qualifications
- Responsible for performing and recording measurements and final report of M-mode, two-dimensional Doppler echocardiograms for adults and pediatric patients.
- What you will do in this role:
- + •Delegates work appropriately to job classification with clear concise directions.
- + •Ensures accuracy and completeness of work performed.
- + •Follows hospital policy and procedure in performing job functions, skills and tasks.
- + •Willing to adjust personal schedule in cases of workload fluctuations or other departmental needs.
- + •When assigned work is complete, it seeks additional tasks to be done.
- + •Perform well in stress and emergency situations, demonstrating effective coping skills.
- + •Follows through with assignments and informs supervisor if unable to complete task.
- + •Determines priority on patient care and completes work within appropriate time frame.
- What qualifications you will need:
- + •One year of experience in a cardiac-related field•+ •Certification in Basic Arrhythmic Interpretation•+ •Certification in Ultrasound Training Program.
- + •(RDCS/RDMS) Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer/ Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date•+ •(RVT) Registered Vascular Technician must be obtained within 6 months of employment start date•+ •Associate degree•+ •Basic Cardiac Life Support•Benefits•Corpus Christi Medical Center, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
