The ideal candidate will have experience performing diagnostic cardiac and vascular ultrasound studies and providing accurate, high-quality imaging in a patient-focused clinical environment. Responsibilities Perform diagnostic echocardiograms to evaluate cardiac structure and function. Perform stress echocardiography according to established clinical protocols. Perform vascular ultrasound studies, including arterial and venous examinations. Perform venous reflux studies and other cardiovascular ultrasound examinations as assigned. Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and ensure appropriate image acquisition and documentation. Review images for technical quality and completeness before submitting studies for interpretation. Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment according to established procedures. Use PACS and related imaging systems to store, retrieve, and manage diagnostic images. Accurately document completed examinations and relevant clinical information. Follow established patient safety, infection-control, and clinical procedures. Communicate professionally with patients and members of the healthcare team. Maintain patient confidentiality and follow applicable healthcare privacy requirements. Qualifications and Skills Experience performing cardiovascular ultrasound examinations. Knowledge of cardiac and vascular anatomy and physiology. Proficiency in echocardiography and vascular ultrasound techniques. Experience with echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, arterial studies, and venous reflux studies. Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical record systems. Ability to produce accurate, high-quality diagnostic images. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and patient-care skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the clinical team. Relevant professional certification or credential in cardiovascular sonography is preferred.
