Cardiac Sonographer Overview We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join a non-invasive cardiology team in Temple, TX . The ideal candidate will have strong adult echocardiography experience, Level I Trauma experience, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Virtual/Phone Responsibilities Perform basic to advanced cardiac ultrasound procedures for adult patients, including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography. Obtain accurate cardiac measurements and high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation. Review patient clinical history and pertinent cardiac findings to determine the appropriate examination approach. Identify cardiac abnormalities and extend examinations as necessary to obtain comprehensive diagnostic information. Assist cardiologists with transesophageal echocardiography procedures, including appropriate measurements and probe sterilization. Prepare patients for examinations, explain procedures, and obtain relevant clinical information. Correlate echocardiographic findings with other invasive and non-invasive cardiac diagnostic results. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to echocardiography procedures. Perform daily maintenance of echocardiography equipment and report equipment malfunctions. Support quality assurance processes and established echocardiography protocols. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, sonographers, and other healthcare professionals to support quality patient care. Maintain compliance with infection control, patient safety, and patient confidentiality standards.

Requirements Experience:

Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Sonography experience

Trauma Experience:

Level I Trauma experience required

Certification:

RCS or RDCS required

BLS:

BLS through AHA required

Work Style:

Must be self-sufficient and able to work independently
