1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with RCIS or ARRT certification and experience in LHC, PCI, structural heart, and advanced cardiac interventions for a 13-week travel assignment in Virginia. Details 4-lab cardiac cath lab performing a high volume of 25-30 cases daily Procedures include coronary angiography/PCI, CTOs, peripheral vascular, EP studies with possible ablations, pacemaker and BIV implants, TAVR, Mitraclip, Watchman/Amulet, and mitral valve procedures Monday through Friday schedule, 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM Call requirement of 2-3 call shifts per week and 1-2 call weekends per 6-week period Scrubs provided Requirements RCIS or ARRT required; if ARRT, a valid Virginia or Compact state license is required — license required if applicable Current BLS and ACLS required Minimum experience required in
LHC, LHC
with PCI, RHC, peripheral vascular procedures, Impella, intra-aortic balloon pump (IABP), and Rotablator Procedural experience required in balloon angioplasty, PCI, stenting, thrombectomy, Impella insertion, left and right heart catheterization, and Rotablader EKG skills required including obtaining vitals, 12-lead EKG acquisition, and rhythm interpretation Experience with cardioversion required Ability to scrub, monitor, and perform EKG in a cath lab setting PDF copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Preferred skills include circulating, IV start, phlebotomy, Watchman procedures, septal closure, ablations, pacemaker/defibrillator device placement, sinus node rhythm interpretation, and pacemaker insertion Epic EMR experience preferred Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 - March 31); religious or medical exemptions must comply with CMS guidelines COVID vaccination verification required; exemption requests must comply with CMS guidelines This is a smoke- and nicotine-free facility Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; no RTO will be approved after an offer is made
