Job Description
Responsible for monitoring patient status via electronic systems and notification of the patient care team when a variance or audible alarm occurs according to policy. Education High School Graduate or Equivalent required. Licensure/ Certification ECG Certification required within 12 months of hire date by the American Board of Cardiovascular Medicine. Experience Cardiac rhythm interpretation experience strongly preferred. Competencies, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Completion of cardiac arrhythmia course and/or demonstrated competency in rhythm analysis upon hire. Knowledge of basic medical terminology. Proficiency in computer programs required to perform the role.
