1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab/EP Technologist with 2+ years of cardiac cath lab experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Level I Trauma teaching hospital. Details Level I Trauma, Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital with ACC accreditation for PCI procedures Cardiac Cath Lab unit with 6 procedure rooms and a daily census of 15-20 adult patients Common diagnoses include coronary artery disease, valve disorders, heart failure, and ASD/PFO closures Advanced procedures include

TAVR, LAA

closures, Cardiomems, thrombectomy, mitral clips, renal denervation, and research protocols Equipment includes IABP, Impella, Penumbra, Rotapro, CSI, Shockwave, laser, OCT, and IVUS Epic charting system required 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM On-call rotation includes 7 on-call and 5 late shifts per 6-week period, including one full weekend (Fri-Sun) and one Saturday for elective cases Must be able to return to hospital within 30 minutes when called for on-call shifts Must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract, in rotation with staff Requirements Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac cath lab required; 3+ years preferred ACLS and BLS certification required ARRT(R) or

certification required Active state license required if applicable 1:1 patient ratio experience Prior travel experience required Skilled in LHC, RHC, PCI, PTCA, stent placement, atherectomy, temporary pacer, Impella, IABP, TAVR, Watchman, and Mitraclip procedures Proficient in sterile technique, EKG lead placement, dysrhythmia recognition and interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring Experience in diagnostic/interventional cath lab settings using fluoroscopy Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE, equipment handling, and supply management Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include accurate monitoring, equipment setup, EKG lead placement, access site preparation, and recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias May serve as room circulator or scrub to maintain sterile field Supports multidisciplinary team with adjacent cardiac surgery and hybrid ORs Facility does not accept first-time travelers Local candidates are not accepted Radius rule requires candidates live more than 100 miles from the facility, calculated from the driver's license address Previous employees must have a break of at least one year before returning as a traveler Facility does not allow travelers to return after working 365 total days, regardless of separation period, with case-by-case exceptions reviewed by leadership
