Dental Treatment Coordinator
Job Description
Dental Treatment Coordinator We are looking for an experienced, personable, and detail-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. The Treatment Coordinator plays an important role in creating an exceptional patient experience by helping patients understand their recommended dental treatment, coordinating appointments, and assisting with insurance and financial arrangements. The ideal candidate is confident communicating with patients, organized, dependable, and comfortable discussing treatment and fees. We are looking for someone who can build trust with patients while working closely with our doctors and team to ensure treatment is scheduled and completed efficiently. Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and provide a warm, professional experience from check-in through check-out.
- Present and explain recommended dental treatment, including procedures, timing, fees, and estimated insurance benefits.
- Answer patient questions and help patients understand their treatment options and financial responsibilities.
- Schedule treatment appointments and coordinate with doctors and the clinical team to maintain an efficient schedule.
- Follow up with patients who have diagnosed treatment that has not yet been scheduled.
- Build strong relationships with patients and help them feel comfortable moving forward with recommended care.
- Verify insurance benefits and assist with treatment estimates and financial arrangements.
- Process patient payments and assist with account questions and billing concerns.
- Maintain accurate patient records, treatment plans, and financial information in the practice management system.
- Communicate with patients by phone, text, and in person regarding appointments, treatment, and financial arrangements.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and practice policies.
- Work collaboratively with the doctors, hygienists, assistants, and front-office team to provide a seamless patient experience.
- Support the practice in achieving its goals for patient care, scheduling, and treatment completion.
