This position is ideal for a results-driven dental professional with a strong background in treatment presentation, dental insurance, patient financing, and front office operations. Primary Responsibilities Present comprehensive treatment plans and educate patients on recommended care. Calculate patient financial responsibility, prepare accurate treatment estimates, and discuss payment options. Confirm insurance eligibility and benefits, obtain pre-authorizations, and understand frequency limitations, downgrades, exclusions, and annual maximums. Submit and track pre-treatment estimates and coordinate with insurance carriers as needed. Schedule treatment efficiently to maximize provider productivity and meet production goals. Collect patient payments, post transactions accurately. Maintain accurate electronic patient records, treatment notes, and financial documentation. Review unscheduled treatment and follow up with patients to improve case acceptance. Coordinate communication between providers, clinical staff, and patients to ensure seamless treatment delivery. Required Experience Minimum 2 years of dental front office experience. Demonstrated experience presenting treatment plans and increasing case acceptance. Strong knowledge of PPO dental insurance plans, including benefit breakdowns, pre-authorizations, claim processing, and coordination of benefits. Experience preparing accurate treatment estimates and financial arrangements. Ability to read and interpret dental charts, treatment plans, and clinical notes. Proficiency with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Curve, Open Dental, or similar). Experience processing patient payments, balancing daily deposits, and managing accounts receivable. Working knowledge of CDT procedure codes, dental terminology, and common dental procedures. Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Workspace. Excellent accuracy with data entry and documentation. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of production scheduling and schedule optimization. Experience monitoring KPIs such as case acceptance, treatment completion, collections, and schedule utilization.
