Experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator Pacific Dental Group - 3.4 Fresno, CA Job Details Full-time $18 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Dental insurance Qualifications Teamwork Interpersonal skills Dental terminology Attention to detail Dentrix Full Job Description Job Overview Pacific Dental Group is seeking an experienced Dental Insurance Coordinator with strong dental insurance knowledge and previous dental insurance/front-office experience. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented individual who has hands-on experience managing dental insurance and is confident with: Insurance verification and accurately confirming patients' benefits and coverage. Creating treatment plans efficiently based on each patient's insurance benefits and eligibility. Answering patients' insurance questions clearly and professionally. Coordinating with the third-party billing service , with no responsibility for managing billing directly, as billing is handled through an external company. The ideal candidate understands PPO dental insurance, can accurately interpret benefits and EOBs, efficiently add treatment in Dentrix, communicate confidently with insurance companies and patients, and answer patient questions clearly and confidently. While this position will assist with general front-office responsibilities as needed, our primary focus is finding someone with strong dental insurance experience. We are looking for someone who is proactive, organized, accountable, and comfortable working in a busy dental practice where excellent follow-through matters. What You'll Be Responsible For Verifying dental insurance eligibility, benefits, frequencies, limitations, and maximums Accurately and efficiently entering treatment plans in Dentrix, grouping treatment by quadrant and appropriate visits Providing accurate insurance and financial estimates to patients Explaining insurance benefits, treatment estimates, and patient portions clearly and professionally Scheduling patients efficiently and maintaining a productive schedule Following up with patients regarding unscheduled treatment and continuing care Answering phones and providing excellent customer service Collecting patient balances and discussing payment options We're Looking for Someone Who Is Experienced in dental insurance and a dental front office. Energetic, positive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment Highly organized with excellent attention to detail Confident communicating about treatment costs and collecting patient balances Proactive — someone who sees what needs to be done and takes action Strong at multitasking and prioritizing Professional and friendly with patients Dependable and accountable A strong team player who communicates well with both the front and clinical teams Motivated to help the practice grow and provide an excellent patient experience Preferred Qualifications 2+ years of dental insurance/front-office experience preferred Experience with Dentrix is strongly preferred Strong knowledge of PPO dental insurance Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, and payment posting Experience with treatment presentation and financial arrangements is a plus Knowledge of dental terminology and common dental procedures Why Join Pacific Dental Group?
