Job Description

Our well-established general dental practice has proudly served the Inglewood community for 30 years. We are looking for an experienced and patient-focused Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our team. This position is expected to last approximately 5 months, with the possibility of extending employment based on business needs, performance, and mutual fit. Position Overview The Temporary Dental Treatment Coordinator will help ensure continuity of patient care by coordinating treatment plans, communicating financial arrangements, following up with patients, and supporting the front office team. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, personable, and comfortable working in a busy general dental practice. Key Responsibilities Present treatment plans and explain recommended dental procedures to patients. Review estimated treatment costs, insurance benefits, and patient financial responsibilities. Discuss available payment options and Cherry/CareCredit financing when applicable. Follow up with patients regarding pending treatment plans and outstanding appointments. Coordinate treatment scheduling with the front office and clinical team. Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits as needed. Assist with PPO insurance and Denti-Cal questions and patient account inquiries. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Provide excellent customer service and help patients feel comfortable moving forward with recommended treatment. Communicate effectively with the front office team and clinical staff to maintain an organized and efficient workflow. Perform general administrative duties to support daily office operations, including organizing documents, maintaining patient records, ordering supplies, updating information in the practice management system, and managing paperwork. Schedule 4 days per week: 9am-5:30pm or 3 days per week: 9am-5:30pm. 22.5 to 30 hours per week Open 1 Saturday morning per month Qualifications Knowledge of dental terminology, treatment planning, and common dental procedures. Familiarity with PPO dental insurance, insurance benefit breakdowns, and patient financial estimates. Strong communication, organization, and customer service skills. Comfortable discussing treatment costs and helping patients understand their financial options. Proficiency with dental practice management software preferred. Ability to work independently, adapt quickly, and collaborate effectively with the existing team. Bilingual in English/Spanish Covid-19 vaccinated High School Diploma Bachelor's Degree preferred What We Offer An opportunity with a well-established dental practice. Pay:
$23.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 22.5 - 30.0 per week
