Job Description

We are a privately owned, doctor-led dental practice — not a corporate group — and we are looking for an experienced Treatment Coordinator to join us on a temporary basis while a valued team member is out. The assignment runs from as soon as you can start through late May or early June of 2027. If you have been in a high-volume corporate office and you miss actually knowing your patients, please read on. Quick Facts Job Title Dental Treatment Coordinator (Temporary) Location Menifee, CA — on-site Job Type Temporary, full-time hours Assignment Dates Start ASAP through late May / early June 2027 Schedule Monday-Friday, 32-40 hours per week. No evenings, no weekends. Pay $26.00 - $32.00 per hour, depending on experience Benefits None — this is a temporary assignment Experience Dental front office experience required Our Office Culture Our patients have left us more than 900 Google reviews at an average of 4.9 stars, and the same words come up over and over: thorough, gentle, honest, on time. That is not an accident. It is the direct result of how our team treats people, and it is the standard the person in this role helps protect. Here is what that looks like day to day: We educate, we do not pressure. Our doctor takes the time to explain findings fully, and we present treatment the same way — so patients understand the "why" before they ever hear a number. We run on time. Patients tell us they are seen at their appointment time. Our schedule is built with care, and the Treatment Coordinator is a big part of keeping it that way. We know our patients by name. Our hygienists get named in reviews. Our front office gets named in reviews. People come back because of the relationships, and families schedule together for a reason. We invest in the practice. The office is clean, modern, and well-equipped, and we use that technology to help patients see what we see. We are independent. No regional manager, no daily production quota handed down from a corporate office. Decisions get made here, by people who know the patient in the chair. What You'll Do Present treatment plans to patients clearly and compassionately — reviewing the recommended care, the sequence, the fees, and the financial options available to them.
Manage the hygiene schedule:
fill openings, confirm and reappoint, work the recall and past-due hygiene lists, and keep the hygiene columns productive and on time. Follow up on unscheduled and pending treatment so that nothing a patient needs quietly falls off the list. Verify benefits, estimate coverage accurately, and explain what insurance will and will not do in plain language. Coordinate with the doctor and clinical team so that what gets presented up front matches what was diagnosed in the operatory. Answer financial questions, set up payment arrangements, and handle third-party financing applications. Support the front desk generally — greeting patients, answering calls, and keeping the day moving. What We're Looking For Dental front office experience — required. This is a temporary role, so we need someone who can step in and be productive quickly. Prior treatment coordination or case presentation experience is strongly preferred. Working knowledge of dental insurance — plan types, breakdowns, frequencies, downgrades, and how to estimate honestly — is very helpful. Comfort with dental practice management software and digital charting. Warm, unhurried communication style. You can talk about money without making anyone feel uncomfortable. Organized and self-directed — you follow up without being asked twice. Dependable attendance and availability Monday through Friday for the full length of the assignment. Schedule & Compensation Monday through Friday, 32 to 40 hours per week. No evenings and no weekends. $26.00 to $32.00 per hour, based on your experience and how much of the above you can take on independently. This is a temporary assignment and does not include benefits. Assignment runs from your start date through approximately late May or early June 2027. How to Apply Apply through Indeed with your resume. In a sentence or two, tell us about a time you helped a hesitant patient say yes to treatment they genuinely needed — we would love to hear it. We are reviewing applications as they come in and would like to have someone in place as soon as possible. We are an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, or any other protected characteristic.
