Job Description
Overview Join our long-established family dental office as a Dental Administrator/Assistant, where your energy and organizational skills will help create a seamless patient experience from start to finish. In this vital role, you will be the friendly face at the front desk, managing patient interactions, scheduling appointments, and ensuring accurate documentation. Your expertise in dental billing, coding, and health information management will support our commitment to delivering exceptional dental care. We are seeking a motivated individual with strong computer skills and a passion for providing outstanding patient service to join our team and help us maintain a smooth-running, efficient clinic environment. Duties Greet patients warmly and manage multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy Schedule appointments efficiently using dental office management software such as Dentrix Ascend Verify insurance coverage, perform insurance verification, and handle billing processes including medical collection procedures Assist with clinical intake procedures, including collecting medical history and explaining treatment plans to patients Coordinate with dental staff for care plans, appointment reminders, and follow-up communications while demonstrating excellent phone etiquette Experience Prior experience working in a dental clinic or medical office environment is highly preferred Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software like Dentrix ascend Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and the ability to manage multi-line phone systems confidently Join us in delivering compassionate care while supporting the operational excellence of our busy practice!
