Senior Dental Office Coordinator Private Cosmetic Dental Practice | Newport Beach, CA $30-$42/hour, depending on experience + performance-based bonuses Full-Time About the Position Our established private cosmetic dental practice is seeking an experienced Senior Dental Office Coordinator to be the primary point of contact for our patients and oversee the day-to-day front office. We are looking for someone who is highly professional, polished, reliable, consistent, confident, motivated, and a fast learner . The ideal candidate has strong patient relationship skills, understands dental insurance and treatment, and is highly confident presenting, closing, and scheduling treatment . This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental professional who enjoys working independently, takes ownership, and wants to play an important role in patient experience and practice growth. What We're Looking For 4+ years of dental front-office experience Strong understanding of dental insurance and treatment planning , with the ability to quickly verify benefits and understand patient coverage Confidently present treatment plans and dentistry , helping patients understand their needs and the value of recommended treatment Strong knowledge of cosmetic dentistry and the ability to confidently present cosmetic treatment Proven ability to present, close, and schedule treatment cases Strong understanding of case acceptance and ability to consistently move patients forward with recommended care Proficient in Dentrix Excellent multitasking, organization, and follow-through Fast and responsive with patient emails, text messages, and phone calls Strong interpersonal and patient relationship skills Excellent communication with the doctor and entire team Maintain a professional, polished, and welcoming front-office environment Positive, collaborative team player Motivated and able to quickly learn new skills and systems Responsibilities Serve as the primary front-office contact for patients Welcome patients and create a warm, professional experience Present treatment plans and confidently guide patients toward recommended care Close, schedule, and follow up on treatment Build trust and communicate the value of cosmetic and comprehensive dentistry Verify insurance benefits and explain patient benefits/responsibility Discuss financing and payment options Manage scheduling, phones, texts, emails, and patient follow-up Maintain accurate patient records and use Dentrix efficiently Coordinate closely with the doctor and billing team Keep the front office organized, efficient, and running smoothly
