HealthONE is seeking a Respiratory Therapy Coordinator to oversee daily respiratory care services across its Denver facilities. In this role, you will coordinate staffing and workflow, support evidence-based respiratory protocols, and collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to deliver high-quality patient care. You will mentor respiratory therapists, assist with training and competency assessments, and help implement new technologies and treatment guidelines. The coordinator also monitors quality metrics, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes a culture of safety, compassion, and clinical excellence for patients with acute and chronic respiratory needs. Responsibilities Coordinate daily respiratory therapy operations and staffing Collaborate with physicians and nurses on respiratory care plans Implement and support evidence-based respiratory protocols Provide clinical guidance and mentoring to respiratory therapists Assist with onboarding, training, and competency assessments Monitor quality metrics and participate in performance improvement projects Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies Support implementation of new respiratory technologies and treatments Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in electronic systems Promote a culture of safety, compassion, and patient-centered care Required Skills Respiratory care procedures and protocols Mechanical ventilation management Arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis and interpretation Airway management and oxygen therapy Patient assessment and care planning Clinical supervision and staff coordination Electronic health record (EHR) documentation Quality improvement and data monitoring Knowledge of regulatory and accreditation standards Education and competency training for clinical staff
