Job Description

San Marino Retirement Community is seeking an experienced Resident Care Coordinator to lead resident care operations across our Independent Living, Assisted Living, and Memory Care community. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can balance clinical oversight, staff supervision, and regulatory compliance while keeping resident well-being at the center of every decision. What You'll Do:
As the Resident Care Coordinator, you will supervise the Wellness team.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinating training for Caregivers and QMAPs Creating staff schedules to ensure coverage and meet residents' needs Monitoring daily medication administration through observation and EMAR audits Supporting medication cart organization and inventory Performing daily rounds and reporting condition changes Leading and participating in resident care conferences Assisting directly with resident care when needed Handling emergencies and coordinating care tasks Supporting nursing functions such as medication ordering, destruction, and incident follow-ups Orienting new residents and maintaining complete health charts Communicating with families regarding health updates and needs Collaborating on training compliance with regulations and company policies Completing QMP audits for quality assurance
Qualifications:
2 - 4 years' experience as a QMAP in good standing (CNA preferred) High school diploma required; College degree preferred Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities Ability to remain calm and efficient in high-pressure situations CPR and First Aid certified Physically able to stand, bend, and lift frequently Why Join Us?
