Celebration Dental Group is looking for an experienced and patient-oriented Dental Treatment Coordinator to join our multi-specialty dental office. We are committed to providing high-quality, personalized dental care and creating a positive experience for every patient. Our ideal candidate is an excellent communicator who is patient-centric, detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable discussing treatment and financial information with patients. The ability to work collaboratively with doctors, clinical staff, and the front office team is essential. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus! Job Duties Include (but are not limited to): Verify dental insurance benefits and eligibility prior to treatment, including coverage, deductibles, annual maximums, frequency limitations, waiting periods, and other applicable plan provisions. Review treatment plans and insurance benefits to prepare and maintain accurate patient estimates. Ensure estimates are updated when treatment, insurance benefits, or other relevant information changes. Present treatment plans and financial estimates to patients , clearly explaining estimated insurance benefits, patient portions, payment options, and any anticipated out-of-pocket costs. Communicate with patients regarding treatment recommendations, answer questions, address concerns, and help patients understand their proposed treatment. Assist patients in prioritizing treatment and establishing a plan for scheduling and payment . Follow up on treatment that has been planned but not scheduled and proactively schedule appointments using reports and follow-up systems. Answer patient phone calls and provide professional, courteous customer service. Verify that patient information is accurate and up-to-date, including name, address, phone number, email, insurance information, and other pertinent information. Coordinate with insurance companies as needed to clarify benefits, coverage, and discrepancies affecting patient estimates. Communicate with doctors and clinical team members regarding treatment plans, changes in treatment, and information needed to provide accurate estimates. Collect payments, co-pays, and patient portions for routine and planned treatment. Maintain accurate documentation of treatment plans, insurance verification, estimates, patient communications, and financial arrangements. Provide exceptional patient service while helping patients navigate the treatment and financial aspects of their dental care. Perform other duties as needed to support the smooth operation of the dental practice.
