Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated Client Care Coordinator/BHT to join our healthcare team. This role involves providing exceptional support to patients and ensuring smooth administrative operations within a mental health and substance abuse treatment setting. The ideal candidate will be organized, compassionate, and possess strong communication skills to facilitate effective patient interactions and coordinate care efficiently. Duties Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries Assist with medical administrative support, including data entry, filing, and maintaining patient records Collaborate with healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments Utilize medical terminology accurately in documentation and communication Support office operations by managing phone calls, emails, and correspondence Ensure compliance with confidentiality and privacy regulations Provide support in a dental or medical office environment, including assisting with patient check-in/out processes Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere for all patients and visitors Skills Proven mental health and substance abuse treatment setting preferred Strong knowledge of medical terminology and administrative procedures Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail Effective communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment Proficiency in office software and electronic health records systems Compassionate approach to patient care and support Prior experience as a BHT (Behavioral Health Technician) is a plus but not required This position offers an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to patient care while developing valuable skills within the healthcare industry.
Pay:
$18.00 - $20.00 per hour
