Midland Medical is now hiring PrEP Access Specialist I inOakland Park, FL Schedule:
Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday 7:30am- 02:00 pm; Tuesday
- Friday 8am
- 5pm
Pay Rate:
$23.00- 24.
Career Path:
PrEP Access Specialist manages a varying degree of work. There are three PrEP Access Specialist levels:PS I, PS
II andPS III. A
level and salary are assigned based on their professional experience or combination of education and professional experience. Levels are reviewed annually as part of the annual review/merit cycle. Promotes and practices Midland Medical's mission and values and follows its policies and procedures. Ensures confidentiality is maintained by entire team regarding patient/client information in accordance with HIPAA, professional and departmental standards. Adhere to all Florida Department of Health rules, guidelines, and parameters to ensure continuity of care and confidentiality. Communication platforms such as patient portal, phone and email are utilized to execute missions. Address questions and concerns and escalate issues to leadership. Optimize provider schedules and patient satisfaction with efficient scheduling. Verify financial records and collect patient charges. Verify all patient information, ensuring charts are last updated. Consistently demonstrates professionalism, empathy, and responsiveness during patient interactions, supporting a positive patient experience. Education/Professional:
Highschool diploma or equivalent (GED)- Required Minimum of 1 year experience of medical receptionist/ patient scheduling (Required) Minimum of 1 year experience of EMR systems (Required) 2 years' experience of PrEP education/linkage (Preferred) 2 years' experience of LGBTQ++ Community Care (Preferred) HIV-Aids 500 and 501 certification (Preferred) Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver's license.
