Coordinator Reports To:
Executive Director Summary:
The Move In Coordinator develops and maintains relationships between the Senior Living Consultant and the community when assisting in the move in process of a new resident. This marketing associate acts as a resource for information to ensure a smooth move in process.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Connects with residents and/or responsible parties in order to obtain pertinent information regarding each resident's interests, skills, and hobbies. Assist Senior Living Consultant while acting as the primary liaison between the community and new resident throughout the entire move in process. Prepares the resident's administrative file according to Galerie Management and state specific regulatory requirements and ensures completion of resident files. Assist the marketing department as needed with tours, telephone inquiries, and other needs to assure the community completes performance requirements and meets all sales goals. Assist in the verification of all resident forms and documents that need to be collected prior to move in according to Galerie Management and state requirements and standards. Can confidently describe the amenities and benefits of the Galerie Management community. Provides timely reporting to Executive Director and Senior Living Consultant on community relations and sales activities as requested. Attends manager meetings and performs tasks as assigned by the Executive Director and the Senior Living Consultant. Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or two to three years of related experience and/or training working in the senior living population; or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
Knowledge and Skills:
Exhibit good time management and organization skills. Possess the ability to handle complex issues. Demonstrate strong interpersonal communication skills. Express compassion for residents and guests on a consistent basis. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Is willing to work flexible hours
