Georgia Spine & Orthopaedics is a Comprehensive Spine and orthopedics care provider in GA. Our locations include Atlanta, Columbus, Gwinnett, Marietta, Tucker, Stockbridge, Dalton, Roswell, and the Surgery Center of Roswell. We specialize in offering cutting-edge treatment with a conservative approach. We are growing and seeking a full-time Pharmacy Services Coordinator for your Roswell, GA office. The role of the Pharmacy Services Coordinator is to assist in coordinating and dispensing medications, as well as supporting clinical requests from patients or providers.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
Ensure patient information remains private according to HIPAA regulations. Responsible for ensuring proper and accurate consent forms. Responsible for coordinating telemedicine requests for medications. Co-manages department emails. Communicate with patients by asking probing questions to patients to ensure requests are accurately presented to providers. Interprets medication orders. Communicate with providers to follow up on medication requests when necessary. Dispenses as appropriate. Performs proper inventory management tasks in clinics and other locations when called upon. Helps with medication efficiency in clinics when called upon. Coordinates medication orders of patient medication. Cross-trained to perform clinical tasks as called upon. Triages incoming faxes to appropriate personnel. Creates clinical forms as requested, which include but are not limited to medical clearance forms and FMLA forms. Coordinates scheduling patient visits with schedulers when necessary. Educating team members on processes even outside of the medications department. Assists the Pharmacy Operations Manager/Clinical Triage in planning for growth. Duties as otherwise assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills, especially on the phone. Excellent phone etiquette even when dealing with frustrated individuals. Preferably fluent in Spanish and English. Pharmacy Technician registration preferred. Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills. Ability to manage multiple incoming streams of communication and keep requests organized. Being able to manage work email in addition to the above responsibilities. Critical thinking.
