At Savannah Dental, the goal of our caring team is to provide comprehensive oral health care and cosmetic dentistry services to people of all ages living in and around Savannah, Georgia, and throughout Chatham County. What we'll like about you: That smiling face!! Being able to greet our patients coming into the practice, make them feel welcomed and keep them informed on the status of their visit. Your ability to organize and maintain patient waiting areas as well as front-desk areas. Your excellent verbal and written communication skills will be the star of the show. Communicating with our patients will make you the face and voice of Savannah Dental. Your skills with the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to operate office equipment, such as multi-line phones, fax machines, printers and scanners. Your professional attitude and appearance!! What you'll be doing: Scheduling, rescheduling, or canceling appointments as needed. Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice. Assisting patients to fill out information forms. Preparing patients' charts and daily schedules for the dental staff. Updating patient records and documenting recent treatments and procedures. Scheduling follow-up appointments and providing telephonic reminders. Assisting the treatment coordinator as needed as it relates to insurance, treatment presentation, etc. Assist with utilizing reports as it relates to hygiene recall, patient treatment, and patient reactivation. Inform patients of office policies as it relates, and provide pertinent information Assist with inbound calls, and provide any patient follow-up as needed Other duties as assigned.
