The Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the doctor, patients, and families during the treatment acceptance process. This individual is responsible for presenting treatment plans, discussing financial options, coordinating patient care, and ensuring an outstanding patient experience from consultation through treatment start. Key Responsibilities Welcome and guide new patients through the consultation process. Present orthodontic treatment recommendations in a clear and positive manner. Explain treatment options, fees, insurance benefits, and financing arrangements. Coordinate and schedule treatment starts and follow-up appointments. Verify insurance benefits and assist with insurance-related questions. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Follow up with prospective patients to encourage treatment acceptance. Build strong relationships with patients and families to ensure a positive experience. Collaborate closely with the orthodontist and clinical team. Track and report consultation, conversion, and production metrics. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Qualifications Required Previous experience working in orthodontics. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Experience discussing financial arrangements and insurance benefits. Proficiency with dental practice management software and Microsoft Office. Preferred Previous orthodontic treatment coordinator experience. Knowledge of orthodontic terminology and treatment procedures. Experience with insurance verification and claims processing. Bilingual skills are a plus.

$22.00 - $24.00 per hour
