Summary

The Student Care Coordinator / Driver supports the success of students by coordinating medical care services, compliance, and transportation.

This position:

Serves as an on-call driver for students to access local medical appointments between 9:00am and 5:00pm. When not transporting students, this position manages the Magnus health information system, immunizations, and student insurance, including related communications, education, reporting, and insurance claims support. Develops relationships with local medical service providers and is knowledgeable about the use of insurance to provide guidance and resource referrals to students as needed. Works with Residential Coordinators, coaches, and the Student Support Services Manager to identify student support needs and contribute to program development throughout the school year.

Promotes health and wellbeing support programs offered through the Student Life and Wholeness Center offices.

Maintains and promotes the campus-wide TimelyCare telehealth service, including communicating available resources and helping students understand how to access services.

Bachelor's degree preferred

Supportive of Principia's mission, vision, and values as articulated here https://www.principia.edu/about/mission Valid Driver's License and able to get Principia van certified within the first week of work

Entry-Level understanding of database management, records-based management

General knowledge of medical terminology, health insurance terminology Computer literate: working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, etc.
