This role encompasses providing client-centered care and support, integrating clinical and nutritional elements tailored to individual recovery needs. The Wellness Counselor will work closely with a multidimensional team to cultivate a nurturing environment that encourages healing and self-discovery. Responsibilities Assess individual treatment needs and develop personalized care plans Facilitate group and individual counseling sessions Work collaboratively with dietitians and medical staff to ensure comprehensive care Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies accordingly Educate clients and families on eating disorders and recovery processes Participate in ongoing training and clinical supervision Maintain confidential records and adhere to professional ethical guidelines Required Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team In-depth knowledge of eating disorder treatment modalities Proficiency in electronic health record systems
