We are seeking a dynamic, professional and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our amazing team! Our office strives to ensure that adequate access to dental care is available for patients of all ages, demographics, and dental needs. The Treatment Coordinator's primary responsibility is to facilitate the patient's office experience in being seamless and ensure the patient leaves well informed and prepared for their next appointment. This includes ensuring the patient understands their treatment plan, the benefits of treatment, insurance benefits, assisting with financial arrangements, and coordination of appointments. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and fosters positive interactions with all patients. In this role, the candidate consults with patients and answers questions related to planning treatment and payment options while focusing on obtaining a high percentage of treatment acceptance from patients. The Treatment Coordinator ensures that patients receive a great experience and understand fully the treatment diagnosed by the doctor.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and present treatment plan and financial estimates to patients for all prescribed treatment. Schedule patient treatment appointments; reschedule patients that miss their appointment and call patients that have not completed treatment. Manage the Doctor(s) schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time. Work with the Clinical Team to effectively manage daily patient flow, providing communication and information to the appropriate individuals. Assist patients with financial arrangements. . Complete pre-authorization verification. Handle all treatment paperwork including consent forms, policy forms, and exit paperwork. Effectively communicate and develop a strong working relationship with the Doctor and promote teamwork through cooperative and professional behaviors. Answer and return incoming calls from patients. Adhere to confidentiality, State, Federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patient's records. Follow and demonstrate commitment to the policies, professional expectations, and Service Excellence Standards. Other duties may be assigned. Requirements Knowledge of treatment plan presentations required High School Diploma Minimum 3 years of work experience is recommended Basic computer knowledge Good communication skills An eagerness to learn on the job and to receive coaching and training
