Job Description

The Nerve and Disc Institute of Bad Axe is hiring a technician to assist with patient care and therapies. We treat many conditions, most commonly spinal, nerve and knee conditions. We are in need of a confident, positive, team-oriented, self motivated individual to join our team! Our ideal candidate is someone who: is reliable, thrives in a fast-paced environment, an experienced multi-tasker who knows how to prioritize, prefers to work as part of a group rather than alone, prefers to be up moving around the office, and maintains an upbeat positive attitude. No previous experience necessary. Training will be provided for the first 4-6 weeks of employment. Training may be held one of 2 locations, including Grand Blanc and Clinton Township. Must be willing to travel for training. Candidates must be able to multi-task effectively.
Duties include:
answering phones, patient scheduling, teaching patients therapy exercises, putting patients on and off treatment machines, charting patients daily treatment, act as patient's liaison to their doctor, explaining and reviewing intake paperwork, entering patient information into computer, attending to 2-4 patients at a time, memorize and follow scripting of treatment explanations and FAQ, assemble and file patient charts, cleaning rooms and equipment between patients and tasks associated with opening and closing the office. Candidate must be able to lift at least 30lbs multiple times a day. Part Time - Please note that you will be scheduled 20+ hours per week.
Office hours:
Vary between 9am and 6pm depending on the day. Therapy Technicians may be scheduled up to 1 hour before open and 1 hour after close. Patient care, customer service, and phone experience preferred. This is a permanent position. We are looking for someone to join and grow with our team long term. Pay negotiable for someone with significant experience.
