Job Description

Job Summary Lakeview Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and highly organized Resident Care Coordinator to support day-to-day clinical operations in our community to provide the best quality of care to our residents. This role reports directly to the Director of Resident Care. If you thrive on helping others and serving seniors, we encourage you to apply! Lakeview Assisted Living is a 67 apartment assisted living community located in Battle Creek, Michigan. Duties Keep daily task sheets current and updated for Resident Care Aide's Puts together charts for new residents moving in and take charts apart as residents leave Keep resident charts organized and maintained Conduct weekly Chart Audits to ensure compliance with HFA Licensing Regulations Filing and Charting as needed Assist residents with administration, supervision and monitoring of their medication in accordance with HFA licensing requirements Conduct monthly Med Cart Audits to to ensure compliance with HFA Licensing Regulations Will be trained on the use of ECP, an electronic MAR Conduct weekly ECP Audits Submit results of all internal audits to the Director of Resident Care Coordinate and complete clinical staffing schedule to ensure proper coverage to meet resident needs Prepare monthly reports for vitals, fridge temperatures, call light report, shower sheets, and hospital bed sheets Destroy medications with Director of Resident Care Monitor oxygen supply in storage shed to ensure adequate supply is maintained Assist teammates with resident's personal care needs as needed, i.e. bathing, dressing, ambulating, etc. Ensure accountability that staff is completing daily task sheets, monthly vitals, call light reports, fridge temps, and shower sheets Attend required in-service meetings and other staff meetings May be required to work in an emergency situation Will be required to be available in case of a natural disaster Performs other general tasks as observed or delegated by the Director Job Qualifications Experience working with seniors is preferred Strong organizational and documentation skills CNA/MA qualifications is desirable Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals Sincere desire to work with memory-impaired elders is required Helpful traits; sense of humor, flexibility, patience, creativity
Pay:
$19.00 - $22.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
