Job Description
Clinical Assessment Specialist $1,000 signing bonus! Provide clinical assessment, access screening, intake and crisis response for adults and children with Mental Illness, Emotional Disturbance, Developmental Disability and Co-occurring Substance Use Disorders. Completes intake assessments to determine if a consumer is eligible for services. Works with Clinical Services Program Manager to facilitate consumer referral to treatment that best meets the needs of the consumer. Completes diagnostic evaluations and initial person-centered plan as appropriate. Functions as part of an interdisciplinary and/or intra-agency team to assist in the provision of services to persons served within the agency and the community. Qualifications Master's degree in social work, clinical psychology, or counseling with licensure appropriate to the field of study required. Demonstrated skills in assessment and crisis intervention required, along with knowledge of mental illness, emotional disorders, psychological assessment, and treatment techniques. Training in evidence-based practices preferred. Must demonstrate cultural awareness and sensitivity.
