The Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in the patient experience at Mitten Kids Orthodontics. The Treatment Coordinator focuses on establishing meaningful relationships, educating families, and confidently guiding them through their child's individualized treatment journey. This role combines exceptional patient service with strong communication, relationship-building, and consultative skills. The Treatment Coordinator must be comfortable presenting treatment recommendations, discussing financial options, and confidently guiding families toward moving forward with recommended care.

Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess These Qualities:

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills , both verbal and written, with the ability to build trust and meaningful relationships with patients and families. Friendly, enthusiastic, and compassionate demeanor with a genuine passion for meeting and engaging with new patients. Confident and comfortable discussing treatment, financial arrangements, insurance benefits, and financing options with professionalism and sensitivity. Sales or customer service experience , with the ability to confidently educate patients and help them move forward with recommended treatment. Dental or orthodontic experience preferred , particularly 1+ years of Treatment Coordinator experience ; however, we are willing to train the right candidate who excels at building relationships. Highly organized and detail-oriented , with strong follow-through and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills , while also being able to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities. Professional and empathetic approach when handling difficult conversations or patient concerns. Positive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of accountability. Goal-oriented , motivated by achieving individual and team goals while maintaining an exceptional patient experience. Proficient with computer systems and practice management software , with a strong understanding of patient confidentiality and professional boundaries.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct initial consultations with patients and families and help identify their orthodontic needs. Clearly explain treatment options, procedures, expected outcomes, and recommended treatment plans. Work closely with the orthodontist to present treatment plans, including treatment fees and financial options. Educate patients and families about insurance benefits, financing options, and financial responsibilities. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient, treatment, and financial records. Communicate effectively with the orthodontist, clinical team, and administrative staff to ensure a seamless patient experience. Address patient questions and concerns with professionalism, empathy, and appropriate follow-through. Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all applicable privacy requirements.

•This position is 4 days a week and considered full time
