Position Overview The Treatment Coordinator is responsible for monitoring the doctor's schedule, checking out patients who require treatment, coordinating insurance documentation, and ensuring all treatment is scheduled promptly. This role requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities Proactively monitor and maintain the doctor's schedule Check out patients who require treatment and schedule all recommended treatment before they leave Re‑confirm all unconfirmed patients and confirm the following day's schedule Review all doctor's patients to ensure yearly financials, medical history, and ID are updated Verify and upload insurance breakdowns every 6 months into patient images Ensure insurance breakdowns match open dental breakdowns Send required pre‑determinations for follow‑up appointments, including hygiene Call patients who are more than 5 minutes late; reschedule when necessary Walk patients out and collect copays and balances when needed Work unscheduled treatment reports during downtime and schedule all outstanding treatment Handle patient questions and concerns professionally before escalating to the Office Manager Answer all calls before the third ring Required Skills & Qualities Dental office experience preferred Strong communication and customer service skills Ability to multitask and stay organized Comfortable discussing treatment plans, scheduling, and financial policies Professional appearance and demeanor Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented Why Join Us?
